To be successful in life, it is required to know how to read. Reading brings knowledge and knowledge brings intelligence, wisdom, and understanding. People learn from many different forms of literature. One of the most important kind of literature is children's literature. It is responsible for teaching children things like vital knowledge that are required for school and life. One man had an incredible impact on children's literature and the way children learned how to read. Dr. Seuss explored new ways to write children's books introducing rhyme and humor, and has helped children to learn to read in a fun and enjoyable manner.

Seuss's style of writing. Dr. Seuss has received many awards for his writing ("Back in Time: Literature for Children (1938)"). One of those awards was the The Ingalls Wilder Award, for having an enduring and extraordinary contribution to children's literature ("Back in Time: Literature for Children (1980)". Many books now use the style Dr. Seuss introduced in his books which has led to a more interesting and enjoyable selection of children's books. Dr. Seuss's writing has been made into cartoons, movies, and plays ("Dr. Seuss"). Dr. Seuss left a huge impact on children's literature and has immensely enhanced what children encounter when they read a children's book.
Dr. Seuss explored new ways to change the way children's literature is written by adding techniques like rhyme and humor to add to his writing and to make it more fun and interesting. In most children's books now, one may find humor, a sense of fun, and many other literary techniques that boost writing. If not for Dr. Seuss, children's book may still be dull and not very interesting, leading to a less knowledgeable generation of kids who do not read and learn.
