The Aerospace Corporation is a company that helps many people in many different areas. It's main duty is to provide independent technical and scientific research, development, and advisory services to national security space (NSS) programs (Delivering). It has become a very large company, with numerous people relying on them. With Aerospace covering different areas of involvement, it takes a strategic and an academically advanced person to lead the corporation. Dr. Wanda M. Austin, CEO of Aerospace Corporation, has met these qualifications, and is leading the corporation with the intent to inspire the coming generations to make science and engineering a preferred career choice (Osbourn). When the Aerospace Corporation was first established, it led many space-based projects, including Project Mercury and Corona, both satellite programs designed to take pictures from space (Aerospace’s Work).
