The wind howled as it passed through the large windows of the Williams family mansion, mimicking the screams of Mrs. Williams as she cried over the bodies of her five months old twin sons. They were found lying in their cribs cold, pale and motionless with pillows over their faces. Her screams echoed, waking the whole house. The first to reach her was her eldest son Christian, he held her tightly as she sat next to the twin’s cribs, eyes wide with her hand over her mouth. The staff followed shortly after then Mr. Williams and their only daughter Eleanor. The room was as dark and gloomy as the night sky, lit only by a single candle. Frieda managed to avoid Christian throughout that whole period as she tended to Mrs. Williams who no longer leaves her room. After completing her nightly duties Frieda returned to her room, which was located on the Far East side of the mansion. She untied her hair then released her tightly bounded corset revealing a rosary hanging from her neck to the mid section of her stomach. As she laid in bed half a sleep she heard a creek from the door, she quickly got up but there was nothing there. Frieda closed her eyes and went back to sleep gripping her rosary. A few minutes passed and she began to hear footsteps, she tried to keep her eyes closed pretending the sounds were from her imagination. She became exhausted from the fear and anxiousness of seeing who was there and finally opened her eyes. She gasped in shock as she saw Christian’s face leaned over her, watching and smiling. He covered her mouth before she could scream and used his legs to hold down her arms as he sat on top of her. “I know you saw me Frieda,” he whispered with a smile. Frieda’s eyes widened as she tried to shake her head saying no. “Don’t lie to me!” he shouted with anger as he released her mouth and began squeezing her neck. Frieda now fighting for her life as Christian held it in his hands did not have the voice to scream but enough to ask “why?” Christian lets out a sinister laugh and moves closer to her ear
