This is a disastrous story about madness and religion. This novel follows a young London attorney Jonathan Harker journeys to Transylvania to assist wealthy nobleman Count Dracula in buying a property in England. Dracula's suave politeness initially impresses Harker, but his strange ability to communicate with wolves and absence of servants eventually make him uneasy. He tries to run away, but three beautiful vampire women catch him and almost devour him. He contracts a serious case of brain fever and spends weeks resting at a convent in Hungary. Meanwhile Mina and Jonathan get married and the men go vampire-hunting, but Renfield invites Dracula into the building and starts drinking Mina's blood. In the book, Dracula stands in for all that is bad. In addition to being wicked in and of himself, he also infects some people with his evil influence, turning them into clones of himself. In contrast, the members of the Crew of Light, a group that hunts vampires, are morally upright by nature. In this tale, even those who are naturally nice can turn evil because of Dracula's capacity to infect others. The concept of good versus evil is highlighted by Lucy's appearance as a vampire. When she was alive, Lucy still has a lovely, alluring, and welcoming appearance in her undead state. She doesn't have the appearance of a terrifying monster. She even acts as though she loves Arthur, who is her fiancé. She may appear innocent, but she is actually a violent monster eager to harm everyone who approaches her.
