Aubrey Graham, now commonly known to the world as “Drake”, recently solidified himself as one of the most popular artists in the game by dropping his fourth studio album Views in April. Although View’s was an instant hit in terms of commercial success, It left many people pondering if this is Drake’s best album to date. Many would disagree and say that Take Care still reigns supreme, deeming it a classic. Drake’s has always found success in his album debuts. According to billboard.com, each of Drake’s albums has debuted at the number one spot making Views his fourth studio album in a row to do so. But none of his albums have stayed at the top as long as Views. Forbes wrote an article with the title “Drake’s Views Is Already One Of The Biggest Hip-Hop Albums of All Time” stating the reasons why it is deemed one of the best hip-hop albums only after a two month span. One of the main reasons for the high claim by Forbes is because of Views reign at the number one spot for 10 Weeks. It is not only a personal best for drake, but it’s a personal best in hip-hop Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers Album in 2000. Once Views hit the 10th week mark at the number one spot Drake joined some elite company. Making him the fourth artist since Whitney Houston in 1992 to have an album chart for ten weeks. Not only did this album receive major recognition on the billboard charts, but it broke multiple streaming records as well.
