Vera and Lombard both explained what had happened on the island and how Wargrave was the killer, not them. At first, the police didn’t believe them but then Lombard told decided to make a deal with them.
“Ok listen up, I say we make a deal here! How about Vera and I try to prove to you that we are innocent,” Lombard questioned.
The police responded, “And just how do you think you will do that?”
Then Vera suddenly interrupted and said, “We will go back to the island!”
Lombard suddenly turned around and looked at her like she was crazy.
“Yes, that’s it! We will go back and look for evidence to prove that we are not guilty at all and we shall be set free,” Vera
