The novel Dreamland Burning is a mystery story written by Jennifer Latham based on the Tulsa race riot of 1921. Giving you a 100-year different point of view on the same story soon to come to the light. Ruby a 10-year-old p.c first finds her way into wills heart and spends her every spare minute with him in one of her adventures with Will his cap flies away and Ruby goes to get it for him not seeing the milkman's delivery vehicle she almost gets run over.In a moment of chaos everyone turns out to be fine but the milmans left in anger and his now business is spilled on the floor along with the clear sparkly glass.As he comes stomping towards ruby william gets in front of her which in itself to protect a person of color it could have been taken the wrong way and william would have been viewed as a traitor and more, not even given a chance to speak.
