Druid Character Analysis

My character is a Druid. I chose the Druid because they are awesome! They can transform into many forms, they have a travel form, bear form, cat form, and water form. They can travel faster than all of the other classes while they are in cat and travel form. Druids have many talents such as healing, tanking, and dealing damage. Druids wear leather gear, leather is tough but can be really weak at low levels. Each talent has a name for example Druids have two types of damage, they can fight up close which is called Feral, or they can fight from a distance and use magic spells to attack which is called Balanced. Their healing talent is called Restoration and last but not least the tank is Guardian. Druids are one of the very few classes to have four specializations (talents). …show more content…

Balanced Druids and Restoration Druids share a lot of the same stat priorities. They both want intellect but Restoration Druids want more spirit. Spirit helps healers regenerate mana during battle and if the healer does not have mana everyone dies and is grumpy. Feral and Guardian Druids also share some of the same stats. They share agility, Ferals want agility because it helps them hit harder and more periodically. Guardian Druids want it because it helps them stay alive. Most of the healing spells for Druids are healing over time (HoT) spells. They will cast it on you and it periodically heals you so the healer can put HoTs on you then go and heal somebody else, while it is still healing you. Many raids want Druids in their groups because they are so good at single target and area of effect (AoE) healing. Restoration Druids can also battle resurrect someone that has died in battle and bring them back to life. Not too many classes can do that so again Druids are a very valuable
