E.B. White is most famous for his children’s book “Charlotte’s Web”. He lived from July 11,1899 - October 1, 1985. He attending Cornell University. He worked for many companies including editing the school newspaper, the United Press, Seattle Times, and eventually The New Yorker magazine. When he was in college people started calling him “Andy” because he didn’t like his real name (Elywn Brooks White)(Biography.com Editors, 2016). He graduated from Cornell University in 1921. Later he pursued in journalism for many years.

It was written in 1952. He was inspired to write this book from one day when he walked out in his barn and saw pigs and a spider. This book was made into movie that many people love.
