In today’s society, the media portrays a perfect body to be fully fit, muscular, and slim. These characteristics pierce. While they may not be necessarily bad for our physical being, they attack our mentalities. In such ways that we do not fit the media’s “perfect body” description. These athletes show difference in race, gender, and profession, all comfortable in their own skin enjoying something they love. The apparent reward for buying this magazine is that it shows you no matter how you look at yourself on the outside, rather you think you are too skinny or to fat; you can still do anything you put your mind to no matter what your body shape may or may not look like.
