This semester from my course books and videos I learned about the early childhood teaching programs and literacy strategies. I learned what kinds of skills and professional training is essential for early childhood educators. I learned that early childhood educators face so many challenges while working with children and their families. I learned about the different kinds of curriculum, the principles of curriculum construction, and about the plans of different activities. I learned that an early childhood educator faces many problems while working with dual language learners and children with special needs. I learned that it is the teacher’s responsibility to provide the children with an indoor and outdoor environment that supports the children’s learning skills. The early childhood educator must establish a strong positive relationship with the children’s families and provide them with the opportunities to participate in the program.
