The apostles in the Early Church use predominant leadership styles in the Book of Acts. This paper will give some insight on some of those leadership styles. These styles of leadership helped me to better understand the apostles and some of their characteristics during the early church. The apostles were charismatic, transformational, servant, and spiritual leaders in diverse cultures. However the apostles were a lot like the people of today, they all had some types of issues but they were still committed to being faithful to God. As leaders, we have to have a good relationship with our followers just as the apostles did. God gave his apostles the gift of the Holy Spirit. Saul of Tarsus early life wasn't great. He was a violent man. Some would call him a religious terrorist. Saul's life was changed after his first encounter with Jesus. He then proclaimed Jesus as the son of God. After this, he was now known as Paul. As Caldwell (2012) stated, “ Transformative leadership incorporates key ethical elements of six highly-regarded leadership perspectives in describing a model of governance that asks leaders to optimize long-term wealth creation while pursuing outcomes that also serve society and that recognize duties owed to all stakeholders”. Paul was transformed and he also wanted to spread this transformation to others. Paul was also a servant leader; he wanted to serve other over his own self interest. This apostle was charismatic and a spiritual leader, who spoke to the Jews. Jesus was executed and buried, and then he was raised from the dead by God. This was to fulfill God's promise. Paul explained the resurrection of Christ and how forgiveness is available because of Jesus
