Conformity is where people change their beliefs, attitudes, actions, or perceptions to more closely match those held by groups to which they belong or want to belong or by groups whose approval they desire. As said in the article ‘Ebscohost Conformity’ “As a group gets larger, more people tend to conform.” This states one positive about conformity. Conformity has important social implications and continues to be actively researched. It is basically if you are willing to follow rules and regulations and the morals you have. In this essay I will talk about why it is important, how power can be abused etc.

Conformity is very important because it is important to follow regulations so that no one gets hurt. No matter what there will be someone who heavily lacks conformity, being that is just who they are, granted a lot of people have a lot of conformity so it all could level out depending on how you look at it.
