While working at the bar he met a woman named Mary Hogan. One night after closing she was alone. While closing the bar one night she was murdered. After the cops were called and investigated they did not have a suspect.Until three months later when another murder took place in plainfield. People in town started to think that Ed might have had something to do with it. After all the people telling the cops that Ed might have had something to do with it. Since all these people were telling the police that gein had something to do with it they went and questioned Gein. When they went to Gein's house which was a old farm house about 5 minutes away from town. When they knocked on the front door of Geins house. A man with a cooking apron o opened the door and the police asked to come in and question him. When they went into Ed's house they found something so disturbing that it would change the world forever. They found Masks made out of human skin,women's clothing,human skulls used to make bed post. After arresting ed they found a Shallow grave in the back parts of his property. When they dug up the grave of ed they found the body of a woman that was unidentified still to this day.
