Ed Sheeran is a singer/ songwriter who has become known around the world and has also became a hero to many. He is an inspiration because he figured out what he wanted to do with his life and went for it. Ed Sheeran started out on little and became something so much bigger over a short period of time. He was born February 17th, 1991 (now age 24) and was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England (“Ed Sheeran”). When Ed was only eleven, an uncle gave him his first guitar which he taught to play himself rather than going to music lessons (“Ed Sheeran”). This was around when he first started showing an interest in music. Also at age eleven, he met singer/ songwriter Damian Rice.
