One might say Phillips Exeter alumni, Edmund Perry, demonstrates such saying. A big contribution to his negative environment, would actually be his family members. His father, was an alcoholic, and did not play an important role throughout his life, instead just creating a void. Based from other interviews, Edmund’s sister Nichol did not follow what seemed to be the traditional route of boarding prep school,but instead followed the influences of the surrounding neighborhood’s aura.Similar to the 6 foot 3 football player,Jonah, Edmund Perry did attend a boarding prep school and had good grades.
