Edgar Allan Poe lived the life unhappy but followed his dreams. Edgar Allan Poe started his life badly. On 19 January 1809, He was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the second child of David and Elizabeth Poe. (Dameron) He also had two siblings named Henry and Rosalie. (Giordano) However there was an event that make the family separated, is their father, David’s mysterious vanishing. (Dameron) After he disappeared, Edgar’s mother, Elizabeth Arnold Poe ended her life. He was left alone when he was just two years old, and he adopted on December 1811 by John Allan who was a tobacco merchant. (Dameron) John Allan’s job and wealth became advantages to Poe.
