A nation is considered educated as long its educational system ensures a high-quality method of instruction. Many countries all around the world are involved in a learning competition with a valuable reward – an educated nation. Therefore, every country, trying to elevate its instructional outcome, develops a wide variety of facilitating tools and methods in order to reach the top. While American educational system offers a flexible schedule of classes, Moldavian is completely unlike. In Moldova, unlikely, students have a strict predetermined class schedule. All colleges, universities, and even schools offer their classes at the same time. Every day, from Monday through Friday, Moldavian students have classes. Furthermore, almost every campus starts its classes at 8:00 a.m. and holds them until 3:00 p.m. This fact makes students exhausted and restricts their daily activities. Consequently, students can focus only on their studying since they have no time for something else – working a job for instance. Combining a job with study is almost impossible for Moldovan students since the time spent in campus is enormous. On the other hand, students from the U.S. could consider themselves more privileged. Considering themselves way above the students, teachers in Moldova display a very strict and formal comportment. To talk to a teacher in Moldova is like reaching the stars. The only communication between a teacher and his or her students is during the class period and only on topics related class subject. Furthermore, to see a teacher talking to his or her students outside of the class would be bizarre. The exception rather than the rule could be only to greet a teacher outside of the class and usually in a very formal way. Additionally, teachers in Moldova, during the lecture, won’t say a word unrelated to the subject discussed. Witticism, for instance, is not under the case even for a teacher. Saying an amusing remark would be almost beyond the limits. Accordingly, teachers in Moldova are more formal and tough. On the contrary, teachers in the U.S., from my perspective, are more friendly and approachable. To see a teacher that talks to his or her students outside of the class room in an informal, amicable way is a typical element in the U.S. Moreover, during the class time, when students are exhausted by learning, a simple joke could change the atmosphere in class, and many teachers use humor to involve their students in learning. Additionally, teachers in the U. S. have a different approach and usually try to go down to students’ level in
