Educational Philosophy Statement

I am an educator, of education, my role is a surrogate parent, a disciplinarian, mentor, counselor, role model, and planner. My philosophy, is to live and teach by these concepts in order to produce productive students of society. As a surrogate parent, I will be there to console students when things go wrong and praise, and encourage them when great things are achieved. Being a disciplinarian, I will hold each student accountable for their actions to ensure they learn a valuable lesson. The counselor role will allow me to interact with the students in a way where they feel comfortable to express feelings. Being a role model will allow me to show them that not what obstacle they face, they can still do and be something special in life. The planner role will allow me to have a specific lesson plan ready to go ahead of time to give the students and option to study ahead. The classroom will have certain curriculum along with different survey to guide in each student in the direction of what they would like to do, now and in the future. Each day will consist of at least eight hours with students, therefore, I will need to take full of advantage of time, planning and strategies of finding each students weakness as well as strengths in order to address each and find the solutions. By allowing students to express themselves and giving one on one time when needed, will help guide me in distinguishing between their strengths and
