Educational Philosophy Statement

As educators, we go to school and are trained for one purpose, to ensure that every child has the right to learn and gets a quality education. Being a teacher, I have to teach each and every one of my students that they are unique and capable of doing anything they put their mind to. I know as teachers, we have a big impact on our students both inside and outside the classroom, and that they are our future. It is my desire as an educator to ensure that I create a safe environment where my students are comfortable and motivated to learn. There are three elements that I believe are useful in creating and maintaining an environment as such,
I believe that each child should be comfortable to express their feelings, along with showing their talents and abilities, so that they are not held within any limitations. My personal goal for my future classroom is to provide quality education to each and every student, acknowledging that each student learns differently. By the end of the academic school year knowing that I have made sure that each and every one of my students reach their full potential, dictates that you were successful, no matter what test say. For instance, participating in events that the school puts on, visiting the school to see their child and student that way the parent is not a new face to the teacher. Establishing a relationship is very important as a child is going through school, not only does it allow me to understand a parent’s views and morals, but it also allows the parent to get familiar with my ways and policies. I do not mean that a parent just comes to a school to see how their child is doing, but when the school has events or meetings about new policies and systems being establish in the school it should not come as a surprise to them when their questions of confusion
