I believe that education is an individual, unique experience for every student who enters a classroom. In order for children to benefit from what schools offer, I think teachers must fully understand the significance of their job. I consider teaching to be a lifestyle. I believe that the best teachers have a deep rooted passion for what they are doing. As professionals enabled with the education of adolescents, I believe that teachers should promote learning and growth academically, individually, and honorably. Doing this by providing a applicable education to each individual in the classroom. A teacher should provide children with the tools necessary for success in life. My role as a teacher is to guarantee that all my students are receiving appropriate guidance through a variety of different methods. I make myself available to all my students to provide them with support to improve their growth in all facets of their educational. I think it is beneficial to shift the roles in the classroom throughout the year. At the beginning of the year I lead more classroom discussions, but as time advances I place more responsibility on the students to propose their own questions and answer them independently. I use various methods are used to assess a student's understanding of the material. This includes the traditional exam, a presentation demonstrating knowledge of the topic, or a paper on the topic. My students spend a significant amount of time with me, and they look at me as an example. Because of that I do my best to demonstrate the qualities of a good citizen, striving to inspire my students to become active members of the community. Being a teacher does not end topic.
