Rockefeller owned nearly 95% of all oil in the U.S. due to being the first man to start a trust in the oil business he was able to lower the cost of his oil. After he had every consumer buying his oil, and knocking the other 5% out of business he then controlled all oil. After he owned all oil in the United States he raised his prices, and became the richest man in the country, and most likely the richest man in the world. Trusts and Monopolies affect the american businesses by limiting the supply of goods to the public.
Prisoners were first beaten brutally later hanged up and left to die. In the camp prisoners would be examined by SS man, Wiesel said “ Whenever he found a weak one, he would write his number down: Good for crematory” (38). The Nazi were capable of doing anything they wanted with the prisoners, according

They did the ideological experiments, mainly on gypsies. They were trying to figure out how the different “races” reacted to the experiments done on them. This personally I thought was the horrific out of all of them.
The Nazi’s were horrible and did many things to people who are unimaginable. According to Elie Wiesel in the memoir night, published in 2006, and by Oprah’s interview with Eliezer Wiesel at Auschwitz one technique the Nazi’s used to get what they wanted from the prisoners was mind games to trick them into doing things. To begin, the holocaust was a horrible time in history and millions of people died from the Nazi’s. The Nazi’s used mind games to get the prisoners to go into the “shower” which, according to Oprah in her interview with Elie, “when they were inside the door was shut and they were in a gas chamber.”

This startling observation made by members of the Nazi Party led to mass genocide in the German euthanasia effort to slaughter people on a large scale. The program was a series of experiments used on sick or disabled Jews to kill on a massive scale during the Holocaust. The T4 program in World War II was an important and tragic event not widely known today. The Program was used to help design mass killings, making the Holocaust possible on an immense scale, the deadly methods used upon the victims were horrific, and the sorrowful story of a victim.
Gas chambers were installed in concentration camps throughout Germany, and camps made just for execution were eventually developed. One of the most remarkable camps, Auschwitz-Birkenua, contained 4 gas chambers. The occasional gassing of mental patients quickly escalated into mass murder. The Nazis quickly realized that these gas chambers were much quicker and more efficient than using guns to kill Jewish people. Anyone who wasn’t able to work was deemed useless and thrown into a gas chamber.

They were a fast, cost-effective way to kill massive amounts of people in a short time period, as opposed to other killing methods such as firing squad or hanging, and eventually became the final solution to Jewish discrimination. In the years leading up to the Nazi regime, anti-semitic bigotry grew into hatred. Jewish persecution expanded into state-sponsored racism and boycotts.
