The most important thing about a book is the main theme. The main theme for The Mockingjay contains eight topics of themes such as, manipulation, sacrifice, love, friendship, power, warfare, courage and, admiration. With those eight themes, they are the reason of the creation of The Mockingjay. As a reader and critic, there are great things to say about the book, but also dislikes. The book represented itself as a bird, but yet it’s about someone as a rebel towards their own government system but tries to be a “good” role model. The story of The Mockingjay is about a young teenager girl, Katniss Everdeen who tries to save the world from warfare, from the capitol they must follow and also the annual games where they have to compete and kill people for the remembrance of the war that was taken place a long time ago.
