The Elder Scrolls Online is a MMO set in the Elder Scrolls universe and those looking for 'Skyrim Online' will probably be a little be disappointed at first but once you become a little more open to the idea of a MMO instead then the game will be a lot more entertaining and interesting to you. The Elder Scrolls Online was originally released on PC last year and is now also available on Xbox One and Playstation 4 under the title The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, however it is still the same game.
Being a MMO means there's no offline play but there's lots of content which can be done solo for those players who may not be too interested in the MMO aspect; the world is huge with plenty of regions within Tamriel to explore and hopefully more will be released in the future, combined with an open world and random events as well this should make just wandering around exploring entertaining in itself. There is a main campaign of course which players are forced to start off but after a certain point very early into it you can just run off into the wilds and begin exploring, stealing and completing quests to your hearts desire.
