Before Emissary Kim leaves, the news that Kang received a commission spreads across the village. When Tree-ear hears the news, he is saddened that his master potter, Min, did not get the commission. Later on, Emissary Kim wants to see and speak with Min. Even though he does not have the commission, there is still hope for potter Min.

In Oz dorothy faces, witches, fairies, munchkins and flying monkeys. To get back to her mother, Amy has to, steal the scarecrow 's brain, remove the tin woodman 's heart, and take the lion 's courage.

This story contains a lot of flashbacks in an effort to try to explain the character’s motives. Her writing style is very simple. She puts everything in a way that anyone could read and understand the point that is trying to be put across. She also uses a technique where the reader can create their own opinions on the characters.
The Cuckoo's Classic Within the United States of America, twenty six percent of the population eighteen and older suffer from a mental disorder. While today we do not use people like Nurse Ratched to treat mental health patients, people still suffer from mental disorders. The novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest uses the realities of the mental institutions of its day to tell a story of the morals of the insane and the sane. To do this, the author, Ken Kesey, used several different literary devices, conflicts and themes throughout the book. The book is a classic because Kessy created a memorable protagonist and a compelling moral battle that he has to fight and ultimately lose in order to win.
The concept of an American Dream has been around for a long time. The way people live their lives should be based on their passions, but many times people form false passions around objects and money. In The Professor’s House, by Willa Cather, a situation is given of a man who lives in a society built up by a 1920s American chase for money and success. This way of life eventually leads the Professor to become dissatisfied with his life despite achieving the perceived elements of success in 1920 America. Cather provides a solution to the problem the Professor faces inside the character Tom Outland.
A major scene in the film is Dwane’s breakdown, once he learns of his inability to enter the air force due to his colour-blindness. This scene has many interesting features and techniques within it, including many different camera angles, character actions, lighting effects on the movie and the viewer, irony, props, sound, and even hidden messages, along with a variety of themes in relation to the rest of the movie. Little miss sunshine was released in 2006 through 20th century fox, directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, and written by Michael Arndt. The directors and writer would have chosen the actors in the scene for their abilities and what character qualities they could bring to the movie.
In the book, “Eleanor & Park” I believe that Eleanor and Park were both the protagonist in the story. With that in mind, my overall thought of the book was that it was an okay read. The reason why I thought it was an okay read, was because I felt there was too much going on to narrow down the major point of the story. It could have been one of the three that I saw which were: One, Eleanor having to live in a house with an alcoholic and verbally abusive stepdad that her mom won’t leave him. Two, Eleanor and Parks’ relationship and how it developed them.
It’s a Wonderful Life is a film set in the World War II era that follows the life of George Bailey. George spends his entire life in a small town named Bedford Falls. His dream was always to leave the town and travel the world, but he never gets the opportunity because he is stuck running his father’s building and loan company. George serves the citizens of the town by providing them with affordable housing. During this time he makes many important relationships with people throughout the town.
Alice Walker the author of the Flowers”, was inspired to write this story because of the tragedy that has happened to multiple black Americans and how it has affected their human rights. This story describes scenery that may have happened around South America starting off with a girl named Myop, a ten-year old girl who explores the world around her, unaware of the secrets the world beyond holds. In the first paragraph, Alice Walker clearly emphasises Myops purity and young innocence with the quote “She skipped lightly from hen house to pigpen.” This demonstrates how happy Myop is in this setting, we can identify she feels safe here, “ She felt light and good in the warm sun.”

He removed any doubt or confusion over the intent of his message. The rhetorical triangle presented in the cartoon involves the speaker, audience, and subject.
