Eleanor Roosevelt was very different from other women in her time. She was not beautiful and excited all the time like most young women. She was very serious and her mother made up for her lack of beauty by educating her. However, she became the First Lady when her husband Franklin Roosevelt became president. She was a strong and passionate woman who exceeded far beyond the expectations that society had for women.

Later, Eleanor cared for everyone she could, and made everyone’s dreams come true. UNICEF, an organization that supports children, now needs a new ambassador and more dreams to come true. They value education, compassion, equality, and more, so judging by how Eleanor lived her life, she would be the perfect candidate.
In 8th grade AT, we learned many things about the brain, philosophy, and how people think. I really enjoyed this year in AT. It seemed a lot more intriguing than the two years prior. Also, this Unit made a lot more sense than any others we’ve covered. Everyone in the world uses personality masks.

Despite his intelligence, asthma troubled his body, and bullies teased him for his weak bodily structure, and timid nature. Theodore “Thee” Roosevelt Sr., Roosevelt’s father, told Theodore, to “make” his body and get physically into shape to escape his asthma, become strong and athletic in the process, and gain the confidence to challenge his bullies.
I was never taught. I was never taught to be my self. From the good old early day 's I was taught how to be like the other children, how to play like the other children, how to think,how to learn, how to BE like the other children.. and this is very tragic you might say, but I was taught no other way. The truth is that I might have accomplished only a few of those goals. I’ll leave it up to the imagination on which ones I did not succeed in. However, freshman year was a great trial-and-error period on achieving a high school to college wardrobe and mentality metamorphosis. I have managed, after three years, to master a quick beauty routine.
I learned that any barrier you face there is always an option to overcome it and be successful. I can grow by working my hardest on my school work and never giving up, even when things get hard. I also learned that time management is a very great skill to obtain at this time in my life, because college courses take time, effort, and lots of patience. I must give myself time to prepare for class work and especially exams. Having a schedule for my school work and my personal life is the best choice to help me stay on track.
