In “Eleanor Roosevelt’s Speech on the UDHR” by Eleanor Roosevelt, the purpose of the speech is to persuade the Soviet Union to accept the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.On September 28, 1948 Eleanor Roosevelt gave her speech on the UDHR and made it very clear that every man deserves a moral freedom.
