So the time has finally come that America has chosen its newest president. And they did so mainly with the "it's one or the other mindset" if anything, really.

Since Donald. J. Trump has become the President Elect, no-one has really been happy. Obviously, liberals aren't all that pleased with a man who opposes almost everything they vie for, but even conservatives are having second thoughts, or at the very least, hoping he doesn't really take most of the things that he said literally. But displeasure is a really light term for what's happening right now in global, not just national, politics. The election incites the same conspiracy against the Electoral College that the 2000 election of George Bush and Al Gore had, but at a much larger scale. Hillary won the popular vote, which, according to past elections, meant that the Electoral College would mirror that. But, since the Electoral College had a higher number of Trump voting Republicans, he won. And while obviously Trump hadn't had any say in this, it does sounds ironic that something like this would happen to the candidate who complained about the election being rigged (unless he won). Personally, I welcome freiendly relations, they're a wonderful thing to have, but when countries have repeatedly done things to go against the United Nations, NATO, and common decency, too much trust really is a thing. Not only has Russia dismantled its democracy, aided Assad's tyranny in Syria, invaded its neighbouring Slavic states, and restricted the free rights of its citizens, but they have been exposed for being behind numerous Wikileaks leaks throughout the election
