Elementary School Accomplishments

Since my early years in school I always felt that I was good student and would be for years to come. In elementary school I was always focused and ready to learn. I was revered by my elementary school teachers and I always tried my best to prove to them that I was eager to learn. I acquired many skills and experiences from elementary school that helped me be the person I am today. Some of skills that I acquired were how to be honest, how to become a problem solver, how to be organized, and most importantly how to become a hard worker. I always lived less than 15 minutes of walking distance away from the elementary, Jr high, and high school I have attended, so school was easily accessible and my academic accomplishments have been greatly enhanced because of it. After elementary school I entered a new stage in my academic career, it was time to head off to jr. high. Brookhurst Jr. High was where most of my older brothers and sibling attended and I was going to keep the tradition and attend Brookhurst. Seventh grade year was a year of many new experiences and new difficulties. The workload and schedule I had at brookhurst was something I had to get used to and by eighth grade I had. My seventh grade year I received a 3.0 gpa but in my eighth grade my grades dropped off a bit and I ended with a 2.5 gpa. …show more content…

High school did not feel too much different than jr.high so adjusting was not difficult. My ninth grade year grades reflected who was as a student because it showed that I wanted to learn and I can achieve good grades. I one teacher who helped me be the student I am today. That teacher is Mr.Bennet my math teacher who always showed us motivational videos and gave us life lessons in addition to teaching us math.
