Although it is debatable, Elizabeth I is known to be England's greatest ruler. "Good Queen Bess", as her people called her, dealt with England's countless amount of problems. She was judged "unfit to rule without a husband nor successor. Having no husband made people dispute over her right to the throne. This did not change her decision about never getting married, she continued to rule without a husband. Religious conflicts and debt were some of England's major issues. England had an immense amount of debt, Elizabeth found many ways to deal with this debt. Religion caused a prodigious amount of problems to arise for Elizabeth. Elizabeth may not have fixed all the problems with religion, but she was able to find solutions to many of them.
