“John, it come to naught that I should forgive you, if you’ll not forgive yourself” said Elizabeth Proctor from The Crucible when talking to her husband while he was on the verge of being hanged. Elizabeth Proctor was a character in The Crucible. She was married to John Proctor and had three kids with him and they soon both are accused of witchcraft. Elizabeth Proctor and I are similar personality wise because we are both honest, protective, and holds grudges against people. Elizabeth is a goodly Christian women. Everyone in the town knows that Elizabeth is one of the most honest people. In The Crucible she was asked if she was a witch and she told people no. I, just like Elizabeth am an honest person. I lied to my friend Alayna that i was not able to hang out because my mom said no. But really I was already going with a girl she didn’t like. I felt so bad that I ended up telling her later that day. Also I always tell my opinion when I am asked. Elizabeth and I are both very protective. Elizabeth i s a protective person when it comes to family. When Elizabeth is asked if John had an affair she says no to protect him. I am like Elizabeth and I protect my family. When I heard my neighbor say that my brother was a bad kid i stuck up for him. I told them he has been through a lot and he isn’t a bad kid, he just has an act sometimes. I’m not just protective of my family but also my friends too. My friend Brandon gets made fun of because he is short. Yet, I defend him every time by telling then to act their age and to leave him
