Emma Watson is a very famous actress who has won numerous awards for the various movies she has been in. She is most well known for her part of Hermione Granger in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Even though she was busy making the eight movies in the series, she still managed to keep up on her education and receive high scores in all of her classes. Watson also is a model and in 2011 she appeared on the cover of Vogue (Biography.com editors par. 13) Emma is mostly recognized from Harry Potter, however, she has made many other major accomplishments that most people don’t know about. Emma Watson was born on April 15, 1990 to her parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson who have since then divorced. She was born in Paris, France but at age 5, after her parent’s separation, moved to Oxfordshire, England with her mother and brother, Alex Watson (Biography.com editors par. 2). While in Oxfordshire, Watson studied at the Stagecoach Theatre Arts school where she performed in many various plays and her natural talent for acting was revealed. She auditioned eight times and J.K. Rowling, the author of the worldwide bestseller, loved Emma from her first screen test (Biography.com editors par. 4). Needless to say, Emma won the part and received the chance to star alongside Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley). According to a poll by therichest.com, Emma is the fifth highest payed cast member of the Harry Potter films with an income of $40 million by the end of filming in 2011 (number 5).
