Some people are fit for books, some are not. Am I a book reader? maybe, maybe not, it really depends on the book. I really need to love a book to read it, if I love it I wouldn't put it down but it's hard to find books I like everything disinterests me but contemporary romance books have this hold over me, I like them so much it's strange especially Colleen Hoover's books, Reminders Of Him has to be my all time favorite book and here's why. In Reminders Of Him it has lots of emotion. I love the book Reminders Of Him because of the emotion. I admire books that make me feel something. It brings me into that world and when you're in that world it's an escape from this one. When there's emotion it gives you that connection with the character’s …show more content…

It's hard to show all that emotion in one book for example "In a matter of a few weeks, I went from hating you to liking you to wanting the world for you, so forgive me if those feelings sometimes overlap." (Chapter 31) Kenna and Ledger relationship went from strangers, to liking each other, to hating each other, to frenemies, to a forbidden love and still in the end they ended up together. Another example you can feel the emotion is "People say you fall in love, but fall is such a sad word when you think about it. Falls are never good. You fall on the ground, you fall behind, you fall to your death. Whoever was the first person to say they fell in love must have already fallen out of it. Otherwise, they’d have called it something much better." (Chapter 5) Kenna seems so happy towards people she's always the one with the brightest smile on but in her head it's a never ending battle she can't get away from all the loss and remorse after the love of her life died after she lost the father of her child and she kinda in a way lost her child she was broken. Then this one this sentence made me cry so much "There was before you, and then there was during you, but for some reason I never thought there'd be an after you" (Chapter 33) see this sentence might seem vague but if you read the book when you get to that sentence your bawling your eyes …show more content…

(Chapter 32) Kenna's night of tragedy had drinking, smoking, and driving all involved and just because of those 3 reasons she suffered for many years. Bad things happen even if you don't want them too "No matter how much you love someone, you can still do despicable things to them." (Chapter 33) Kenna loved and still loves Scotty with her whole heart. She wanted to be his wife, his best friend, his daughter's mother, but that night he lost his life and even though she didn't want him to die because of her mistakes he still did. "Sometimes I wonder if we’re all born with equal amounts of good and evil. What if no one person is more or less malevolent than another, and that we all just release our bad at different times, in different ways'' (Chapter 40) Kenna struggled with the fact of her life she couldn't see her daughter the love of her life died but she understood the fact between good and evil and she thought everyone was good and evil they just don't show it the same, Kenna wasn't evil she made a mistake just like everyone else on this earth it cost someone their life but I feel like whoever was driving
