The movie Dragon Hunters takes place in a daunting-adventuresome world filled with deadly dragons who show no mercy to a medieval society. This leads to the need for knights who slay and protect citizens. The two protagonists, Lian Chu and Gwizdo, are two orphan brothers who have been together ever since their orphanage had burned down. These two hunt dragons with little success or with great difficulties to make a living. Lian Chu is towering and able-bodied with much potential in dragon slaying. Gwizdo is small and scrawny who is a avaricious opportunist who tries to benefit them. Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Empathy played a big role in the movie because the two protagonists Lian Chu and Gwizdo had an abundant amount of empathy towards each other. Since the two characters had been with each other ever since they were orphans, they had built a strong brotherly bond with each other that allows them to freely express and understand one another. In the movie Inside Out, empathy is shown through the anthropomorphized emotions in the protagonist Riley’s mind. Together they learn and understand each others feelings to be able to work out problems amongst each other and Riley’s mind. For example Joy learns to understand the value of sadness and its value to the process of healing and growth amongst human beings. Lian Chu was able to show empathy towards Zoe because he was did not want to turn her away as Gwizdo did, rather he listened and admired her childish ways of her excitement of the fairytales she had read. In the film, the two protagonists Lian Chu and Gwizdo are portrayed as measly underdog dragon hunters. Their team consisting of Lian Chu, Gwizdo, Zoe, and Hector are all included whenever they are in quarrel. All four characters take part in there conflicts, struggling to find a resolve. Zoe and Hector are vastly different from Lian Chu and Gwizdo, though they are all in the same team because of their recognized values. In the film Ratatouille, it shows the protagonist Remy, who is a rat, recognizing his extraordinarily unique talent and love for cooking, ultimately working hard for his dream of becoming a cook. The film shows a journey of Remy finding himself and realizing that he is willing to do whatever it takes to become a cook. Overall, Ratatouille highlights the importance of recognizing the value and potential in individuals by the pursuit of one’s passion, overcoming many obstacles in their path. Lian Chu and Gwizdo both know what they would like to do and be better at in life, and that is purchasing a small piece of land where the two of them both can live and and take care of sheep on a farm. Throughout the film Dragon Hunters, the protagonists are both going through many obstacles to finally achieve their goal.
