After reading and watching both perspectives I believe them both to be true to an extent. Krznaric argues a great point that we need empathy to understand others which is exactly how I feel when it comes to my job. Without empathy, we are incapable of knowing what another person is going through, what they’re feeling, and what their needs are. This quality isn’t only needed in the workplace but in our everyday lives. On the other hand, I believe that it is important to understand that empathy doesn’t come in a never-ending supply because we are human we can’t always understand everyone all the time.
