The student learning outcome was a bit challenging at first. After discussion with my instructor, I was able to get to work and was quite pleased with the learning process. Habing to write a research paper has always been avoided if possible, but undertaking this task in English 1301 with Professor Suber made me feel at ease and focused on set goals and achieving them. Writing a reflective paper for a presentation on Apps, to writing an analytical essay had its challenges. I learned that I had to work on my mechanics in other to be a good writer. Bulleting my thoughts down on paper to ensure that I followed through with instructions paved the way to succeed in the class. I feel certain that my success rate going forward in life, writing in the future has been spear headed by enrolling in this class. During the course of English 1301, I learnt how to effectively communicate with my professor on the areas I needed to grow in and having the guidance to achieve the milestone was worth the while. Most of the times, I felt lost in my thoughts as I write, but I learnt to re-assess and re-evaluate to make sure I was consistent on what was required.
