S3, Ep1 Doubt - A college campus is plagued by a serial killer who is after a certain type of victim.
In the beginning of this episode they believe the killer is after a certain type of victim because they were all brunette college females who were the victims. The way the killer posed the victims after he had murdered them made them believe that it was a sign of remorse. He laid their hands over there heart as if trying to give them back some dignity. They believed that the killer was part of the college campus anyone from a student to security. 1). The girl could be believed to have borderline personality disorder based off of the fact she cut herself and was implosive in the matter of killing someone to get the original killers attention. Another research states BPD as "repetitive suicidal behavior, self-injury, aggressive outbursts, increased emotional reactivity, and even dissociation is manifested in an interpersonal context" (Yeh, 2017, p. 23). This explains that Tubbs loss of custody of his child made him have an outburst and go on this killing spree. Along with him, the girl matches the description because of her outburst to kill someone, cut and dye her blond hair to brunette and the fact she self-harmed. Tubbs was said to be diagnosed with antisocial tendency or antisocial personality disorder. The fact that he had this could correlate with the fact that he committed these murders based off of a statement from Riser, "Psychopathy and antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) are two constructs that have proven useful in identifying dangerous subsets of criminal offenders" (Riser, 2013, p. 332). This shows that his antisocial behavior can lead to criminal offenders. That along with borderline personality disorder could be why his offenses were murder and so sudden.
