We all have heroes in our life whether they are fictional or real. Some are more epic than others, but still they are heros. An epic hero in literature is defined as a brave and noble character in an epic poem, admired for great achievements or affected by grand events. Epic heros are said to follow an literary archetype which is defined as a typical character, an action or a situation that seems to represent such universal patterns of human nature; also known as universal symbol, may be a character, a theme, a symbol or even a setting. An modern example of a epic hero is Darth Vader. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of him as a hero is that originally he was Anakin Skywalker who trained with a great mentor, Obi Wan Kenobi.
