Other well-known competitors include Athenahealth, Cerner Ambulatory, DrChrono, and eClinicalWorks. Cerner Ambulatory is the main competitor to Epic and is known to be more user-friendly. (Arora, 2023) Organizational Structure The organizational structure of Epic Systems starts with the CEO & Founder, Judith R. Faulkner, then flows down to the leadership team, made up of 12 individuals, and the Executive team, which includes the CEO and 5 members.
