Everyone deserve to have equal rights, a specific group is women and girls. Over 40 years ago women fought for rights for women. Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth, and other women came together and formed the National Women’s Suffrage Association in 1890. These wonderful women brought wonderful things for women in America. The NWSA gave women all in America the 19th amendment which gave women the right to vote. This is such a big thing to learn about women rights because in the 1800’s women was not giving the right to vote, now in the 21st century women are allowed to vote. Throughout history women have been less fortunate than man due to their gender. Do women take advantages of their rights because their women? The right to live free from violence, slavery, and discrimination; to be educated; to own property; to vote; to earn a fair and equal wage are all the Women’s rights that were invented almost 70 years ago. 1848 the first women’s rights convention is held in Seneca Falls, New York. A couple days later 68 women and 32 men signed a Declaration of Sentiments, which was the agenda of the women’s rights. Calling for equal treatment of women and men under the law and voting for women. Two years later the first National Women’s Rights convention took place in Worcester, Massachusetts. Over 1,000 people came out to support the Women’s Rights. May of 1869 Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton formed the National Women Suffrage Association, their main goal of the organization was to achieve voting rights for women which mean they would
