After Eric's success in the band "The Yardbirds" which got him a few commercial hits, Eric has joint his second band, "The Bluesbreakers". While playing for the band, Eric established a huge reputation for the best guitar player of his age, and has adopted nicknames like "God". The band released an album called "The Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton" which was declared as one of the greatest blues albums of all times.
Before releasing the album, Eric has left "The Bluesbreakers" as well, and has decided to form a trio which received lots of fame and was called Cream. Eric’s life began to deteriorate. He came up with only one song called Lyla, which was criticized badly because of its meaning. The song was dedicated to Pattie Boyd, George Harrison’s wife, and sent a message of erics desperation for her love. Eric then was going through a rough time with no musical success, the rejection of George's wife - Pattie Boyd and on top of that, one of his greatest idols - Jimi Hendrix has passed away. Eric saw no other solution than drugs.

4 years later, after going to rehab and ditching his heroin addiction, Eric made a comeback to the music releasing a top selling solo album - 461 Ocean Boulevard. Therefor, the drama in Eric's life did not end just yet. A few years after gaining lots of success with his great album, Pattie Boyd has married Clapton, after her divorce with George Harrison.
Even after getting the woman of his dreams, Eric was not a good husband. Leaving his drug addiction behind, eric has began drinking heavily. His alcoholism issues has resulted with him cheating on Patty with two different women, and having a child with each one of them. The affairs, the alcoholism and the lies has lead to his divorce with patty in
