SWOT Analysis For the last 18 months, I have been employed by the Erik J. Davis Law Firm as a Legal Assistant. In my role, I am responsible for the coordination of all administrative duties for our satellite office in Chicago, IL. While the majority of my time has proved to be a valuable learning experience, I have also been able to experience internal and external factors that as they relate to our firm that both allow us to realize both successes and missed opportunities. Additionally, I have allocated some of my downtimes to gauge trends in our industry. One example of an emerging trend in the law industry is technology. Based on my experience with the law firm and my review of other factors that influence our industry, I developed a SWOT analysis of the Erik J. Davis Law Firm that will illustrate how the firm has managed our entry into a new market, by highlighting our strengths and weaknesses.
