Erika Anderson, a mother of three children, was and still is inspired by Steve Jobs and everything he did. She was a person who messed up in life and tried her best to learn from them, because in her house the was very little room for mistake. She learned all of the skills an adult would at a very young age. A quote gave her some hope for the few mistakes that she did make. When Steve Jobs said, “Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations” it stuck with her. “While I was happy on the outside, I was puzzled on the inside because I wondered why she didn’t get an iPhone, because it was the greatest smartphone Steve Jobs had made. But I didn’t ask because I didn’t want to offend her. I later realized that not everyone likes the iPhone, and they have their reasons why, which aren’t irrational, but some are quite puzzling. Afterwards, I asked her for the reason why she didn’t like an iPhone, and she stated, ‘It’s not that I don’t like it, I just want a Samsung more than an iPhone.
