A visit to the doctor is in the year 1924 and it is about a kid who lives in Oslo Norway and he has to go to the doctors to get his adenoids removed.The kid in the story hates the doctor because everytime they work on his teeth it is really painful.So he gets to the doctor’s office and the doctor says lay down on the chair and he does that.Then they bring a big metal pot that has steaming hot water in it, then the doctors told him to open his mouth which he does and then they stick a big pair of metal scissors down his throat and then they cut his adenoids.Then the kid feels burning flesh, And he can taste and feel the blood coming out of where his adenoids where.Then a woman that is a doctor comes into the room with a bowl and tells him to spit out the blood.Also in this story they use five different writing techniques to enhance the story. …show more content…
