C) Iban custom laws Iban custom law is only can be use for the state of Sarawak in East Malaysia. Iban are the one most populous native group in Malaysia different with other Malays. The Ibans are traditional riverside people, housing in longhouse societies along the smaller streams and main rivers of the internal of Sarawak. At the center of the traditional social system is the longhouse society which keeps even until now. Individualism is greater valence by the Iban but mutual economic dependence exist which is in turn sustained by a complex code of social adat or regulation. For the Iban, the phases adapt covers all of the different jury regulation, rituals and customary norms. That all are instructing an individual’s conducted and the judgment and forms of rectify by which laws are persist. The primary unit of Iban community and legal agency is the bilik (room). The Iban longhouse is gathering of single owned family apartments. Each apartment is known as a bilik which is hold by a specific family group. An individual is born into a specific bilik, either of the mother or the father and will automatically turn into a member of the bilik by adoption. The Dusun custom law in Sabah is the very famous codes on custom law and is known as Woolley’s Codes. This code is written between 1932 and 1937. Woolley was the Resident of the Interior for few years. Under Dusun custom law have two types of division property which are acquired property and ancestral property. Acquired property is show the belonging acquired before marriage and it also can obtain together during the marriage. A share of acquired property will be transfer to relatives by marriage. For the legacy, it will change to ancestral. Ancestral property involves the belonging hereditary from ancestors, which can only be hereditary by blood
