Living in the 21st century is completely different compared to the 20th: marriage, drugs / alcohol, religion and technology – especially in today’s society. I never would experience what life was like back then, but I would remember the stories and teachings my family had on me growing up. My relatives, especially father, grandfather and uncles have erudite knowledge not just on their futures, but their past. They would tell me stories of theirs live growing up and how it would impact me in the near future. Everyone is constantly changing and improving, yet we are also destroying the thoughts and lives of them by the harm and carelessness we show.

What leads humans to hit these rock walls and turn towards these situations is by parties and gatherings, family and friends, depression and peer pressure. It can physically shut down the intestines, circulatory system, kidney, liver, brain, and the lungs. In today’s world, teenagers do not care. “It’s the latest trend these days,” as some would say. Back in the days, it was very popular for people to be drinking alcohol, but I was not a common thing to hear (Cory Bellaire). Teenagers are caught up in the outside world but not what is happening inside the walls of their future.
Religion has a huge impact on yourself and others in both present and future. In High School, Religion was very common, however, there were very few men who went to church to grow upon their faith in God; majority were women and children (Barbara Owczarzak).
