The literary work of James Joyce’s Dubliners and Elizabeth Bowen’s The Heat of the Day, successfully depict an eye-catching viewpoint concerning the changes in individual lives associated within a paralyzed and wounded society. An Anglo-Irish writer, Elizabeth Bowen, lived mostly in London between 1935 and 1965.
