Abigail Adams met John Adams when he was a lawyer. Abigail and John had five children in the span of ten years, with one heart-breaking death of their baby girl in early-childhood. Revolutionary War Abigail Adams took part in her husband’s career, financially managing the family farm, as well as business affairs. She wrote letters to her husband including facts about where British troops and ships were placed in Boston. Her letters also helped John and the colonial forces plan how to fight the British. When new laws were being created for the new country Abigail wrote a letter to her husband saying “ remember the ladies” because she didn’t think that it was fair to give all the power to the men. Then there was cannon fired into the town *BOM* *CRASH* The small children were screaming and crying. Their mothers had to keep them calm with songs or sweet stories, but that sent me back to when my mother and father sang me songs or told me stories before soldiers burst into my home and took away my parents. Then before my eyes I saw a child standing in the middle of the battlefield. I ran as fast as a cheetah and grabbed the child he was crying with injuries on his arms, and legs. I brought him to safety,I had brought the hurt child into the bakery because we needed to get out of the battlefield. We sat down behind the counter top of the bakery . I looked at the injured kid and sang him a song that my mother would sing to me, as he settled down he told me his name he said” my n-name is G-George Hill “ then I replied “what were you doing in the middle of the battlefield “ George said “ I was escaping from a family that made me a slave and they would whip me with a whip and yell at me” I replied “ I’m so sorry to hear that, but everything is going to be ok you're with me” All of a sudden A gunshot fired *BOM* and almost hit me and George, but we doubted it. Then an injured Red Coat ran into the bakery with blood running down his face,arms, and legs. George and I hid quietly behind the counter, the injured Red Coat said '' I don’t think that I wi-will see my family” before
