Before the war, during the war, and after the war, diversity towards African Americans hadn't changed at all. Laws were passed that tried to persuade whites to treat blacks with respect. However, whites resisted. After researching, I want to learn why whites didn't respect them, what happened during the war, what was an African American's role, and how did they execute?
Story of My Search To find all of my facts, I used multiple sources, including Google, infoplease.com, my history book, The South Carolina Journey, and ww2.fsu.edu. After researching I learned many facts, and had a better grasp on details I had a brief memory of for my topic, roles of African Americans in World War 2. These details led to me being able to read journal entries, and other primary sources, that helped me find a new interest in my topic.

The "sequel" to one of the biggest wars in the history of mankind, World War 1, had begun. World War 2 was a humongous war between the Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy, and Japan; and the Allied Powers, which included the United States, Great Britain, France, and China. The war was fought because of smaller countries battling, and those small countries had teammates (the bigger countries like the United States and Germany) on their side ready to fight for them. When the bigger countries joined in, it led to the war getting bigger and bigger; more and more grudges being dragged onto the battlefield. When the war got bigger, more soldiers were needed. After more than 10,000,000 men were drafted into the war, there was one last resort that must be taken. The last resort of American warfare. African Americans get their chance of battling for their
