High school is filled with every type of person imaginable. Many of these kids have not decided who they are or who they want to be, but all of these people can be put into the two main categories. These categories are athletes and nerds. You must look at the behaviors of people in order to figure out which of the two opposing circles someone lands in.
Nerds are those kids with the glasses that wear their khaki pants higher than they should be and always have their shirt tucked in perfectly. Their Mom or the bus takes them to school, and they always arrive at school early. They carry their lunch packed by their mom in their very own lunch box, and interact with as few kids as possible. Through the path of least resistance, they go to their lockers and pack their bag for the day.
Athletes wear sweatpants, sweatshirts, and Nikes. Their clothes always have their team or future team name on them. They drive to school or catch a ride with an older buddy on ”the team.” Athletes keep their

They keep to themselves and their own “kind” throughout the day and steer clear of those cocky athletes. The whole idea of opposites attract can be forgotten. Most likely they stick to themselves because only they can understand words like hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. Oddly enough, it means the fear of long words, but from listening to a nerd speak you know that isn't the case for them. Glossophobia or Atychiphobia fits them much better.
Athletes tend to be more of an extrovert type, especially during the school day. They can never sit still, which could be due to their ADHD, but I think it’s just boredom. Athletes don’t care how to take the square root of sixteen, because it won’t ever be used in one of their sports. On the weekends athletes continue their social trend and go to parties with all of the popular girls after their games, while nerds sit at home and play video
